Community Giving

At Allen & Desnoyers
LLP, we are committed to supporting the communities we serve by volunteering in community development activities, arts and culture programs and environmental initiatives. We are proud to support our employees who give their time, energy and financial resources to strengthen the many communities we serve and to help those in need.

Supporting the Arts

Allen & Desnoyers LLP proudly supports the The Mac-Haydn Theatre, which has been dedicated to presenting and preserving musical theatre in Chatham, New York since 1969. The MHT is a unique, intimate, charming, 350-seat theatre-in-the-round, where every seat is less than 30 feet from the stage. Firm member Ralph Ambrosio has been a member of the Board of Directors and performer at the MHT for over 43 years. Emily Allen, daughter of Founding Partner Gregory Allen, recently played the role of "Whistler" in "Oliver!" "We are pleased to support the Mac this season," said Managing Partner Dale Desnoyers. "As a member of the local community, we are commited to the success of the arts in this area." Click here to see our ad, as shown in the playbill for "Brigadoon" and be sure to visit the MHT to catch the rest of the 2012 Season.

Counting on Us

MATHCOUNTS is a nationwide mathematics competition for middle school students from throughout the United States. MATHCOUNTS inspires excellence, confidence and curiosity in U.S. middle school students through fun and challenging math programs, culminating in local, regional, and national competitions. Its founding sponsors include the CNA Foundation, the National Society of Professional Engineers, and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. With the generous support of all MATHCOUNTS sponsors and volunteers, MATHCOUNTS is providing today’s students with the foundation for success in science, technology, engineering and mathematics careers. The young participants also represent an important investment in America's global competitiveness.

Dale Desnoyers and Val Washington will be volunteering again for the 2012 MATHCOUNTS competition.

A Goofy Race for Charity

If you think that a marathon is just a walk in the park, imagine the Goofy Race and a Half Challenge at DisneyWorld: a 39.3-mile race held over two days, with participants running a half marathon on Saturday, followed by a full marathon on Sunday. Dale Desnoyers takes the Goofy in stride, on behalf of the Children's Tumor Foundation ("CTF"). The 2012 race (January 8th and 9th in Orlando), marked Dale's sixth run for CTF, a non-profit 501(c)(3) medical foundation, dedicated to improving the health and well being of individuals and families affected by neurofibromatoses.  More information is available at
